Alexandra District Health wishes to provide a COVID-19 update after becoming aware of a positive case within the community.

We are advised that the case was active in the community from Friday, 22 October to Monday, 25 October, and was then treated by ADH while a transfer to another hospital was arranged, following all appropriate protocols.

At this time, it is vital that anyone experiencing even the mildest symptoms of COVID-19 (such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell), get tested and stay at home until receiving your negative result.

ADH’s COVID-19 testing clinic is running as normal, strictly following medical protocols and best practice.
