Intake Officer Locum

We are seeking a Locum Intake Support Worker to our team – Fixed Term Leave Replacement Role

40 hours per fortnight, 7th July to 6th September 2021

Alexandra District Health is looking to add a locum intake support worker to our team.  This is a fixed term position for 11 weeks providing 20 hours of service per week. Flexibility exists to provide the service over 3-5 days each week depending on your family and work commitments.

The Intake Officer is responsible for completing Initial Needs Identification, assessment and prioritisation for all Primary Health referrals from the community and ADH acute ward and administration of client registration on our Client Management System (UNITI). We aim to provide a timely and client centred service which is critical when processing referrals, linking with services, booking appointments and providing clients with additional, relevant information where required.

You will have a background in nursing, welfare or allied health and excellent digital capabilities including navigating databases and Microsoft Office. You will have an engaging phone manner, experience working with clients and work well under pressure. We have a diverse client group and will be looking for someone who can interact positively with clients, staff and other key stakeholders.
